Sayyidul Istighfar is a powerful doa. Sayyidul Istighfar means "chief of prayers for forgiveness". It is a important and valuable doa that is narrated in Shihatul Bukhari sharif. doa sayyidul istighfar is given below
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْت خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْت أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْت,أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِك عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِر لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ
الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

Shaddad ibn Aws, (Radiyallahu anhu)said that the Prophet ( Peace be upon him) said, “The chief of prayers for forgiveness is:
("O Allah. You are my Lord. none has the right to be worshiped except
You. You created me. I am Your servant. I abide to Your covenant
and promise as best I can. I take refuge in You from the evil of which I
committed. I acknowledge Your favour upon me. I acknowledge my sin.
so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except You.")
and
He (Peace be upon him) added that If somebody recites it in day with
strong faith in it and dies on that day before the evening, he will be
from the people of Jannah. if somebody recites it at night with
strong faith in it and dies on that night before the morning he will be
from the people of Jannah. ( Sayyidul Istighfar )
